Booking Procedure.

The changeover day is normally a Saturday, Arrival 3pm Departure 10am, where this varies this will be indicated in the property description.  Outside the main holiday periods and during the winter, midweek or short breaks can usually be arranged.

It is not necessary for you to fill all the beds in the property you choose, but the price will be the same if there are only 2 people in a property sleeping 4.

When you have made your property choice and also selected an alternative, then call us on 01840 261222, to check the availability or send an email to Jean or Dave @lowertowncottages.co.uk.  Your booking will be held for 4 days.  Our preferred method of payment is by Paypal.  On receipt of your booking we will send you an invoice by email through Paypal that can then be paid using any credit card.

If you don't want to use Paypal then please send off your booking form by 1st class mail, with 25% of the holiday cost as a deposit as a cheque made payable to the proprietors D & J. Lyons.  BACS payments can also be arranged.  On receipt of the booking form and deposit we will send confirmation of booking and details of the balance due.  The balance of the cost should reach us 8 weeks before the commencement date of your holiday and you will then receive the full address, directions and other details of your holiday property.  Bookings made less than 8 weeks before the start date of the holiday should be accompanied by the full payment.

Holiday insurance is recommended and a company such as Rothwell & Towler (www. Rothwellandtowler, 0800 0964601) can provide such cover for between £8.00 to £20.00.  Should you be forced to cancel your holiday please inform the proprietors in writing or by email as soon as possible. If the property is re-let your deposit will be refunded, less the expenses incurred in re-letting. Should you have to cancel before the full amount has been paid the full amount remains payable subject to the above conditions of re-letting.

The Proprietors cannot accept liability for any injury sustained by any person or the loss or damage to any property brought onto the premises.

We understand that the occasional accident may occur during your holiday and any loss/damage must be paid for before departure.
